Chai Care, a healthcare facility operating on a walk-in basis, aims to enhance their patient experience by offering online appointment booking. The challenge is to create a user-friendly and efficient booking process that surpasses the traditional paperwork method used on-site.
To meet Chai Care's requirements, I designed a streamlined online booking portal that eliminates the need for patient profiles. Patients can access the portal through the website, where they can easily schedule an appointment. Instead of creating a traditional patient profile, the portal utilises a secure SMS communication system for patients to access their appointment details. The patient's journey begins by selecting Chai Care centre on their website. Once confirmed, an SMS is sent to their registered mobile number containing a unique link and One-Time Password (OTP). Clicking the link directs them to their appointment "profile," where they can view and manage their appointment details. The design focuses on simplicity, collecting only essential information during the booking process. This ensures a hassle-free experience and minimises the time required to schedule an appointment.
